Purpose:
To increase sustainability and energy efficiency competencies for Maryland’s manufacturing workforce through entry-level Green Worker Training Program, and incumbent or skilled worker Green Workforce Certification.
Point of entry for individuals or businesses are the Local Workforce Boards serving
Target Population, Training Activities and Credentials:
Green Worker Training Program for new workers using ITAs, OJT and classroom training resulting in a
certificate. Green Workforce Certification for incumbent workers resulting in one of three levels of Green Specialist
certification.
