Stephen W. Neal is President/CEO of K. Neal International Trucks, Inc. and K. Neal Idealease, Inc.
He has owned both companies for six years. K. Neal International Trucks, Inc. is a full-service commercial truck dealership representing the International, Hino, Mitsubishi Fuso, IC Bus, Cummins and Caterpillar truck, truck engine and bus brands. The dealership offers new and previously owned sales, service, collision service and parts for the commercial trucks and buses sold under those brands. K. Neal Idealease, Inc. provides full-service lease, rental and contract maintenance on commercial trucks to clients in many industries. The dealership, headquartered in Hyattsville, MD, has four locations in Maryland and Virginia and employs 95 associates.K. Neal International Trucks, Inc. is a strategic partner with the Prince George's County Economic Development Corporation, Workforce Services Division. Together, the dealership and the County created an 'on-the-job diesel mechanic training program' for at-risk county residents. Participants in the program come from diverse backgrounds, and have demonstrated a willingness to learn new skills to enhance their careers. The program affords the trainees an opportunity to change their lives and improve their quality of life while earning livable wages and benefits.

Prior to his current role, Mr. Neal spent 28 years at Giant Foods before retiring in 2004 as Executive Vice President of Store Operations and Sales. In his last role at Giant, Mr. Neal managed all functions of this leading grocery chain including Operations, Strategic Planning, Finance, Administration, Customer Service, Sales and Marketing in both unionized and non-unionized organizations having more than 25,000 employees. Under his leadership, Giant set records for market share and profit contribution margin, as well as many non-financial goals. He specialized in P&L management, supply chain management, conflict resolution and team building. Earlier in his career, he also designed and led Giant's Corporate Diversity/Community Outreach Program which was used as a model throughout the Ahold USA Company.

He is a recipient of the 2008 Top 100 Minority Business Enterprise Award, and in 2009 was selected as one of the Top 500 Diversity-Owned Businesses in the U.S. Out of 650,000 Businesses surveyed, he was named one of "25 CEOs You Need to Know". He is Chairman of the Board of SHABACH! Ministries of First Baptist Church of Glenarden, a member of the Board of Visitors, Bowie State University, and a board member of George Mason University, to name a few. Additionally, he has been recognized by many distinguished national industry and not-for-profit organizations. Mr. Neal is a graduate of George Mason University, Fairfax, VA.
